This month’s Signs of the City takes us to Livonia, a community known for its strong business presence and deep roots in Metro Detroit. With its blend of established companies, growing enterprises, and busy commercial corridors, Livonia is a place where visibility matters and signage plays a key role in standing out.

From bustling retail centers to neighborhood businesses that have served the community for decades, Livonia offers a diverse landscape for impactful signage. It’s a city built on hard work, reliability, and pride, values we share in every project we take on.

1. Schoolcraft College – Campus Signage

Haggerty Rd. Livonia, MI

We’ve partnered with Schoolcraft College for over 20 years, helping bring their brand to life through bold, custom signage across their campus. From the large monument at 7 Mile and Haggerty with a 33-foot wing wall and 13-foot curved center, to the clock tower and cell tower signs with oversized logos, our work reflects their commitment to standing out. It’s a strong example of a long-term partnership producing impactful, large-scale results.

2. Nino Salvaggio Marketplace – Wall Letters

Haggerty Rd. Livonia, MI

We brought Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace’s elevated brand to life at their Livonia location on Schoolcraft College’s campus. We created a cohesive signage package, including halo-lit letters and a 24-foot channel letter sign.

The result is a polished, high-end look that enhances visibility and reinforces their destination appeal.

3. City of Livonia Parks & Recreation – Wayfinding

28 locations across Livonia

The City of Livonia Parks & Recreation set out to improve navigation across nearly 30 park and recreation locations. With a wide range of sites, consistency and clarity were key.

We fabricated and installed a mix of post and panel and monument signs to create a cohesive wayfinding system throughout the city.

The signage program enhanced visibility and improved the visitor experience throughout the city of Livonia.

4. Phoenix Theatres at Laurel Park – Wall Signs

Laurel Park Dr. Livonia, MI

Phoenix Theatres continues to trust us for ongoing signage updates across their locations. For this project, we refreshed existing interior signs and added new illuminated elements to enhance the overall look and feel.

The updates bring a more cohesive, updated appearance to the space while elevating visibility and ambiance for guests.

5. Trinity Health – Rebrand

8 locations across Livonia

Trinity Health underwent a major rebrand, and we played a key role in bringing that transformation to life across multiple locations throughout Michigan. Here in Livonia, that included several high-visibility sites like their headquarters and the Trinity Health Sports Center.

The result is an updated brand presence across their Livonia facilities, part of a much larger statewide rollout, ensuring consistency, visibility, and a strong identity within the local community.

Local Work, Local Pride

From high-traffic retail locations to trusted local institutions, our work in Livonia spans a wide range of businesses and needs. This month’s highlights are just a snapshot of the projects we’ve completed throughout the area.

We’ve also completed fabrication and installation work for financial institutions like True Community Credit Union and Community Financial Credit Union, along with numerous installs for national brands such as Dollar Tree and Mitchell’s Fish Market. It’s all part of our ongoing work across Livonia, helping businesses maintain a strong, consistent presence throughout the city.
