The Challenge
The new Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Livonia wasn’t just another retail location, it was a unique collaboration with Schoolcraft College, designed to serve as both a premium marketplace and a hands-on learning environment. Having previously worked with Schoolcraft College, there was already an established level of trust and expectation. The signage needed to reflect Nino Salvaggio’s high-end brand while complementing the impressive, college campus setting. It had to be highly visible, cohesive across multiple sign types, and elevate the overall experience of a destination-style marketplace.
The Solution
Our team manufactured and installed a comprehensive signage package designed to enhance both visibility and brand presence.
This included an 18-foot-wide set of halo-lit wall letters mounted to a large brick architectural feature, creating a refined, dimensional look. On the front of the building, we installed a 24-foot face-lit channel letter sign to maximize visibility from a distance. To further enhance the customer experience, we also produced flat cut aluminum lettering detailing Nino Salvaggio’s offerings.
Every element was produced in-house, allowing us to maintain tight quality control and ensure consistency across materials, lighting, and finish.
The Result
The final installation delivers a bold and polished presence that reflects the premium quality of the Nino Salvaggio brand. The combination of halo-lit and face-lit elements creates strong visibility both day and night, while the architectural integration adds depth and sophistication.
Together, the signage not only enhances curb appeal but also helps define the space as a destination, supporting both retail customers and the educational partnership with Schoolcraft College.
