Formerly the Convocation Center, the 200,000 square foot arena received a name change honoring Hall of Famer and Game Above member, George Gervin. The George Gervin GameAbove Center serves as the home of the EMU Eagles Basketball teams and hosts entertainment events such as concerts and trade shows. With a new name change and considering the size of the building we needed to create signage that would be seen by many.

After collaboration with our design, fabrication and installations teams we landed on white face lit illuminated channel letters with white aluminum halo lit letters that would be proportional to the building and could always be read, even at night. Included in the design is a 20 ft aluminum pan face outline of George himself that we fabricated in our shop.
